Third Grade
Welcome to Third Grade!
Hello! I am Ms. Concannon. I am so excited to be joining the Eberwhite community and the third grade teaching team this year! I hope you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a new school year together!
I live in Ann Arbor with my dog, Zen. I was born and raised here and attended Ann Arbor Public Schools. When I am not in the classroom, I am in the yoga studio! I have been a yoga teacher and practitioner for the past 10 years. I taught third grade at Dicken Elementary for the past 4 years. Before that, I taught first grade at King Elementary and second, third, and fourth grade at South Arbor Charter Academy. This is my 10th year teaching. I am excited for a wonderful year together!
My name is Erin Wright and I am thrilled to teach 3rd grade at Eberwhite! This will be my 22nd year teaching and my 10th year teaching at Eberwhite. I love the Eberwhite community so much I even live here and my two kids (now at Slauson) attended Eberwhite!
I have a combined bachelor’s degree in General & Special Education from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Literacy from the University of Michigan. Although I started as a Spartan, I finished as a Wolverine- Go Blue! I love to travel, ride my bike around town, go to the Farmer’s Market, exercise, read historical fiction, watch Michigan football, hang out with my family and walk my pandemic puppy, Iggy, in the Eberwhite Woods. My most recent trip was to Tanzania for a 10 day safari! I am passionate about social emotional learning, student engagement, community activism and the environment.
Hello Eberwhite families! My name is Ms. Shire, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Eberwhite school and community. Previously, I completed my student teaching at Dicken Elementary and spent a few years as a substitute teacher in Ann Arbor Public Schools.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and an additional endorsement in English Language Development, following my passion for teaching. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UAE University. My family and I live here in
Ann Arbor, where I enjoy life with my husband and our two daughters.
I believe in creating a warm and inclusive classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and encouraged to be their best. When I’m not teaching, I love exploring new places, learning about different cultures and languages, and spending quality time with family and friends. I look forward to an amazing year together!
