Welcome to Third Grade!

Hello! I am Ms. Concannon. I am so excited to be coming back to third grade and the Eberwhite community! This will be my second year at EBW. I hope you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a new school year together!

I live in Ann Arbor with my dog, Zen. I was born and raised here and attended Ann Arbor Public Schools. When I am not in the classroom, I am in the yoga studio. I have been a yoga teacher and practitioner for the past 14 years.

I am a U of M alumni and Michigan football fan– Go Blue! This is my 6th year teaching third grade and my 12th year
teaching! I have taught at Dicken Elementary, King
Elementary, and South Arbor Charter Academy, as well as student teaching at Carpenter Elementary. I am excited to be with the third grade team for the 2025-2026 school year, this is my favorite grade to teach!

The shift to Upper EL is an important year in growth and development and It’s going to be a wonderful year together! I look forward to collaborating and supporting our third graders!

Hi, I’m Ms. Prepsky! This is my sixth year teaching and my second year here at Eberwhite. I’ve had the joy of teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade—most recently 2nd grade—and I’m so excited to be back in 3rd grade this year!

I can’t wait to continue learning and growing with some familiar faces from last year while also welcoming some amazing new
students to our class family.

Ms. Shire

Hello! I’m Mrs. Shire, and I am so excited to be your
child’s third-grade teacher this year! I live in Ann Arbor with my husband, Yousef, and our two daughters, Haya and Dana, who both attend AAPS.

This will be my second year teaching third grade at Eberwhite. Before that, I completed my student teaching at Dicken. I hold a
master’s degree in Elementary Educational Studies from the University of Michigan, along with an additional endorsement in English Language Development and an undergraduate
degree in Electrical Engineering.

I believe in creating a warm and inclusive classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and encouraged to do their best. Third grade is such a special year—it’s the exciting shift into upper elementary!

I look forward to an amazing year of learning, growing, and making memories together.
