Second Grade

Dear Families,

I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Kendra Konigsberg, and I am absolutely thrilled to be your child’s second grade teacher this year. This will be my fourth year at Eberwhite, where I previously taught first grade. I love being part of this wonderful community and am so excited to continue this journey with you and your child.

A little about me: I grew up right here in Ann Arbor and attended Ann Arbor Public Schools myself. I graduated from Northern Michigan University in December 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. During my second year of teaching, I earned my master’s degree in reading education from Arkansas State University’s global campus.

Outside of the classroom, my husband, Sam, and I recently added a new member to our family—a labradoodle puppy named Luna! She’s full of personality and keeps us on our toes.
Teaching has always been my passion, and I’m truly honored to be part of your child’s educational journey. I look forward to a fantastic year filled with growth, learning, and lots of fun!

Hello 2nd Grade Families!

Welcome to an exciting new school year in 2nd grade! I am so thrilled to welcome you and your wonderful child to our classroom. We are going to have a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships. I can't wait to meet all of you!

About Me:

My name is Emma Packard, and this is my 4th year teaching 2nd grade at Eberwhite. I grew up in a family of AAPS educators, attending nearby schools before heading off to Boston University where I studied Elementary and Special Education. In 2024, I graduated with a Masters in Reading from Arkansas State University.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy going Up North with my fiancee, playing with my 2 cats, coaching water polo, reading, and taking care of my houseplants.
