Hello 2nd Grade Families!

Welcome to an exciting new school year in 2nd grade! I am so thrilled to welcome you and your wonderful child to our classroom. We are going to have a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships. I can't wait to meet all of you!

About Me:

My name is Emma Packard, and this is my 5th year teaching 2nd grade at Eberwhite. I grew up in a family of AAPS educators, attending nearby schools before heading off to Boston University where I studied Elementary and Special Education. In 2024, I graduated with a Masters in Reading from Arkansas State University.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy going Up North with my fiancee, playing with my 2 cats, coaching water polo, reading, and taking care of my houseplants.

• 8th year at Eberwhite (previously taught at Bryant Elementary in A2)
• Eastern Michigan University 
  • Undergraduate: Elementary Education 
  • Masters: Reading Education 

• Wife is a kindergarten teacher in the district 
• Three daughters Lola (15), Madalyn (10) and Amalie (6) and our dog Willow!
